Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager / Director to join our dynamic team at TheMedia.Agency. As an Account Manager / Director, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by selling both below the line (BTL) and above the line (ATL) marketing campaigns to clients. Your primary responsibilities will include client acquisition, relationship management, and overseeing the successful delivery of projects on both one-off project basis and retained bases.

Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients, develop leads, and conduct outreach efforts to generate new business opportunities.

Sales and Negotiation: Sell both below the line and above the line marketing campaigns to clients, tailoring proposals to meet their unique needs and objectives.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact throughout the engagement.

Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand their marketing requirements, challenges, and opportunities.

Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations, showcasing our agency’s capabilities and value proposition.

Project Planning: Collaborate with the internal creative, strategy, and production teams to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.

Budget Management: Ensure projects are delivered within agreed-upon budgets and provide clients with transparent cost breakdowns.

Project Delivery: Oversee the successful execution and delivery of marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet quality standards and achieve client objectives.

Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor campaign performance, providing clients with regular updates and actionable insights.

Retention Strategies: Develop strategies to retain clients and foster long-term partnerships, seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Client Feedback: Gather client feedback and insights to identify areas for improvement and proactively address any concerns.

Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated experience in selling marketing campaigns, both BTL and ATL, to clients with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Client Management Experience: Prior experience in managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.

Marketing Expertise: Sound knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices across various channels.

Strategic Thinker: Ability to understand client needs and craft tailored solutions that align with their business goals.

Project Management Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and ensure on-time delivery.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present proposals and interact with clients and internal teams.

Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close deals while maintaining positive client relationships.

Leadership: For Account Director role, demonstrated leadership skills to manage a team of account managers and support staff.

Results-Oriented: A proactive and results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives and meeting client expectations.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the media and advertising industry, including the latest marketing trends and innovations.
